Hello and welcome to Into the Woods - Cumbria in the heart of the Eden Valley.
Into the Woods is part of Maughanby farm, a family run farm that has always looked at the world a little differently.
Having hosted Stag and Hen parties for over 15 years, a natural progression was the creation of Into the Woods to host groups of friends and families in a private, secluded yet spacious and perhaps most importantly fun environment.
Grant grew up on the farm inheriting his love of the outdoors from his parents.
The allure of the woods drew Grant in and 20 years later the business continues to evolve. The pleasure derived from harvesting trees planted by his father Tim, then milling them on site and creating quirky wooden structures for others to enjoy has been enormously rewarding.

Lucy brings a dose of reality, whilst her good natured and professional attitude has enabled Into the Woods to develop from an idea to a diverse and sustainable business that complements the farm.
Lucy makes the most of living in the Eden Valley pursuing her passions for running, cycling and wild swimming whilst juggling their 4 children, Fergal, Minnie, Maggie & Forest. The family is completed by their much loved dogs, Skog, Snatch, Boo & Bint.
